We are seeking motivated, caring individuals, who have a real passion for helping others for this role and to join our Independent Living Skills (ILS) services team out of our branch office in Vallejo, CA. Must live in the Napa/Sonoma/Petaluma area and be willing to drive/commute around this area.
Part-time to full-time and Full-time employment opportunities are available now! Must be a licensed driver, have a clean driving record and able to pass a background check that meets established standards.

The services that Coaches/Mentors provide helps to support, teach and empower individuals with disabilities to easily access and utilize essential resources, build self-confidence, become active members in their community and results in many new opportunities for them and their futures.

Under minimal supervision, you as a Coach, will manage a caseload of multiple clients assigned to you by supporting, encouraging, teaching and working with each client in their own homes and/or out in the community to achieve their goals based on their individual support plan. 90% of your the time will be spent in the field working with clients and the other 10% will be administrative work, such as writing quarterly progress reports and documentation (case notes) for the individuals assigned to you, responding to emails, attending required monthly training meetings, communicating regularly with both your ILS Program Manager and client’s RC service coordinators, etc.
This position is given the general liberty to make their own daily and weekly schedule based on understanding the client’s monthly hourly needs and working with them to accommodate their availability and desired days or times that work best for them. Due to this; it is important to keep in mind that the schedule can/would vary. In general, the range of days/times a coach might work with a client each week can be Monday- Friday, 8am-8pm. This is not limited to and may include: working early mornings, late evenings, or occasionally Saturdays if needed.
As part of the position, you must be willing to drive your own vehicle from client-to-client’s homes when working/meeting with them and at times transport the client. Due to this YOU MUST HAVE-a safe, reliable and operational vehicle, a valid Driver’s license, active insurance that covers you and your vehicle, and current registration on your vehicle. The mile radius that you may be required to drive can vary based on the area and where the clients assigned to you live.
