Team Lead, Compliance Operations

Sinch is looking for a Team Lead to join our Compliance Operations team! This team is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Sinch messaging platform by monitoring customer adherence to and conformity with the Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. Your job will primarily be focused on helping your manager unlock the full potential of the team, by helping prioritize work, creating scalable processes, and crafting robust documentation. As the leader of this team, you will also be responsible for team performance, including establishing goals and performance objectives and coordinating the team's day-to-day activities.
- Support the career growth for a fast-paced team of D&C Analysts and Compliance Specialists
- Guide the team to ensure effective performance, using key performance indicators, OKRs, documentation, and providing individual feedback
- Report to and regularly meet with the Sr. Manager of Deliverability & Compliance to discuss trends, opportunities, and issues
- Collaborate closely with the Reputation team to unlock further abuse monitoring capabilities
- Continually evaluate existing tools, workflows, and processes to recommend improvements that increase team and customer happiness
- Serve as a point of escalation for compliance and AUP related issues
- Coordinate with other departments to improve the experience of the team and customers
- Assist in the hiring and training of new team members to create a strong team focused on protecting our platforms
- Represent the company to the industry, particularly with organizations such as M3AAWG
Requirements
- Prior experience in compliance and/or AUP related roles
- Extensive knowledge of the email industry and the challenges that platform abuse brings
- Phenomenal communication skills for working across the organization, capable of building strong relationships with peers and leadership
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and other email compliance regulations
- Demonstrable critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to flexibly prioritize both long and short term projects while keeping the team focused and organized
