Travel Physical Therapist - Acute/Rehab - Inpatient
- Temporary Full Time, 14-week assignment
- Day shift
- Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm or 10:30am-7:00pm Mon-Fri with rotating weekend (Sat & Sun) once per month
- 40 hours/week
- $65.00/hr!
- No benefits
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree - Physical Therapy
- Physical Therapist License (PT) - Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous acute care experience
- EPIC experience
Sentara Obici Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility located in Suffolk, Virginia. This 172-bed, full-service hospital continues a legacy of providing residents of Western Tidewater with high-quality, patient-centered care. In June 2010, Sentara Obici opened a new three-story, 63,480 square-foot wing, which includes all private beds serving orthopedic, medical and surgical patients and increased the hospital’s bed capacity.
As a Physical Therapist (PT) with Sentara, you evaluate and treat patients with a variety of mobility impairments. You help them every day with regaining a piece of their independence and seeing their success. This position's primary duties include transferring, ambulating, assisting with exercises, gait training, stair climbing, and balance. Job Summary
Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.Qualifications:
