The Massage Therapist is responsible for performing therapeutic massages of soft tissues and joints and assessing clients' soft tissue condition, and joint quality and function. The Therapist will be responsible for assuring our clients’ encounter a relaxing experience where their needs and concerns are met.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide massage therapy expertise at the assigned Center.
Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired outcomes of massage.
Evaluate clients to discover painful or tense areas of the body.
Perform massage techniques suited for client.
Provide a safe and welcoming environment for WashU Rec members.
Promote knowledge of massage techniques and benefits.
Serve as an advocate for fitness and healthy lifestyles at WashU.
Create a positive connection with clients.
Help promote upcoming wellness events.
Foster an inclusive massage environment that is welcoming to everyone.

$25.47 - $39.49 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
