Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Surgery / Orthopedics to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is a 282-bed hospital that provides a broad array of preventive, primary, and acute care services.  Additionally, Harlem Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center, complete with Trauma and elective Orthopedic Surgery.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• First Assist in the operation room.
• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• ED evaluation of Orthopedic surgery patients.
• Primarily day shift coverage, with some weekend and nights required.

• Current certification/admissibility issued by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
• Current NYS Registration.

Wages and Benefits Include:

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* to $174,836* (based on years of state licensure) based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $144,239** to $192,319** (based on years of state licensure), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
