Mission of Role/Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead on-site recovery and rebuilding efforts at the direction of a local government client, focused on neighborhoods impacted by a recent major disaster. The PM will serve as the primary point of contact for coordination with city agencies, FEMA, local stakeholders, and community groups. This individual will drive strategic program development, grant management, infrastructure and housing recovery, and community engagement efforts under local government leadership.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

- Lead implementation of recovery and rebuilding projects for business, housing, and infrastructure restoration
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the client, City departments, and state/federal partners
- Support federally-funded programs, including program design, budgeting, and grant management
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables; monitor compliance with recovery goals and funding requirements
- Direct and support procurement of consultants, contractors, and other technical resources
- Coordinate public meetings, stakeholder engagement, and interagency communication
- Conduct analysis and develop reports, presentations, and recovery recommendations
- Supervise support staff and contractors as needed
- Contribute to federal compliance, including 2 CFR 200, Uniform Guidance, and local ordinance requirements
- Maintain/pursue ongoing knowledge, certifications, and subject matter expertise as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
