Job Description
The Case Manager Lead is an important leadership role that supports team performance, case outcomes, and operational consistency within the firm’s personal injury practice. This position oversees a team of case managers and plays a key role in guiding productivity, maintaining high standards of client service, and contributing to the continued growth and scalability of the department.
While the role is performance-focused, it is equally centered on collaboration, coaching, and continuous improvement to ensure both team success and positive client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of senior case managers
- Support monthly settlement performance and contribute to achieving departmental KPIs and targets
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations to support team growth
- Monitor pipeline activity, case progression, projections, and outcomes to ensure steady progress
- Promote accountability to productivity, quality, and client service standards in a supportive and structured way
- Oversee the full lifecycle of case management, including client communication, negotiations, documentation, and settlements
- Address escalated client matters with professionalism and ensure timely resolution
- Review performance data and provide insights to help identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Help maintain quality control standards through audits and process oversight
- Identify operational gaps and collaborate on workflow improvements and efficiencies
- Support the development of internal talent and contribute to building future leadership within the team
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Ensure adherence to firm policies, legal standards, and internal procedures
Work Environment
- Full-time, on-site position based in Miami Lakes, FL
- Fast-paced environment with clear goals and performance expectations
- Collaborative team setting focused on results, continuous improvement, and client outcomes
- Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving business needs
- Occasional weekend availability may be needed based on business or training requirements

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of management experience in a performance-driven environment
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in personal injury law, including settlement negotiations
- Proven track record of leading teams and achieving performance goals
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and inform decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with case management systems (Litify preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
