Job Summary

Conducts maintenance and repair of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings, which includes working with plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning and heating systems. This position works at any number of locations, both indoor and outdoor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct routine, preventative maintenance to ensure that all locations continue to run smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and fix any variety of problems within each location. May include inspecting and diagnosing problems for which strategies are created to determine the best solution.
• Frequently checks blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Performs general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and properties.
• Maintains proper inventory by ordering supplies from catalogs and storerooms.
• Ensure detailed records of work and repairs are maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• The physical activities of this position may include climbing, reaching, standing, lifting, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Occasionally required to sit.
• High exertion; frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications or courses in mechanical drawing, electricity, carpentry, blueprint reading, science, mathematics, and computers are desirable.
• Valid Driver's License Required.

 Experience

• Basic working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, general construction and woodworking.
• Customer service experience required.
• Relevant computer skills.
