What you'll do

Docusign is looking for Senior Software Engineers to join the CLM Collaboration team, focused on building MSF Services and best-in-class third-party integrations for agreement collaboration with industry leaders. This position will demand critical thinking skills, the ability to quickly understand existing systems and integration points, and the ability to work in agile environments. The ability to take smart and educated risks is essential to the success of this position, as we pioneer new collaboration capabilities. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering.

Responsibility

  • Think about how to solve complex integration challenges at scale and build fault-tolerant services using microservice architecture to support third-party integrations

  • Develop testable, high-quality, and ship-ready code with ample test coverage, specifically focusing on integration points and APIs

  • Work with Product Management, partner teams, and other developers to understand and translate integration requirements into design specifications and provide estimates

  • Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing, and release of collaborative features and third-party integrations

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years of software development experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages, such as C#, Java, C++
  • 3+ years of experience with large-scale data systems and API development for integrations
  • 3+ years of experience with large-scale distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and building/consuming APIs for integrations
  • BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study

Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience in high-scale, highly available (99.99+) systems with a focus on API integrations
  • Experience with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.) and Microsoft collaboration tools/services
  • Experience with SaaS products and API-driven integration strategies
  • Experience with large-scale data processing and integration in cloud environments
  • Agile and Test-driven development methodologies, particularly for API and integration testing
  • A passion to learn new software technologies and integration techniques
  • MS in Computer Science or relevant field of study

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

Illinois and Colorado: $151,200.00 - $213,600.00 base salary

 

Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $151,200.00 - $222,450.00 base salary

 

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
