About the role

Who we are looking for

The VP, Finance Manager will report to the MD, FP&A Centralized Reporting Insights Center and will play a critical role providing leadership of transformation program within FP&A. The individual will oversee a team that is focused enhancing the financial reporting framework, transforming the foundational financial systems/tools, and coordinating the strategic support for the CFO, Investor Relations Team, BU Finance, and SEC Reporting group.

The VP position is a key role in FP&A with a focus on leading transformation within FP&A capabilities. Purpose and critical business goals of role include:

  • Lead transformation program within larger FP&A team aimed at developing actionable plans over time to drive widespread adoption and use of automated tools/processes, AI, and technology to drive efficiency and improve capabilities.
  • Focus on implementing best practices to develop and build upon core activities
  • Focus on deploying reporting automation, AI-driven capabilities and process improvement to gain efficiencies across core activities.
  • “One Team” – partner across cross functional groups to drive financial and management reporting
  • Buy-in from business partners of standardized report approach in terms of core deliverables
  • Engage in initiatives in other areas of FP&A to ensure reporting requirements are being incorporated into reporting strategy/enhancements

What you will be responsible for

  • Over-see timely delivery of all agreed core deliverables to high quality standard with focus on timeliness
  • Partner with FP&A and key stakeholder functions to develop and deliver ad hoc requests & reporting, actionable intelligence, planning and forecasting
  • Responsible for seamless information flow with other COEs
  • Manage and build key relationships, understanding business requirements and appreciating multiple perspectives to deliver high quality service to FP&A and key stakeholder functions
  • Demonstrate the flexibility to adapt and address changing business requirements
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with Offshore team
  • Develop offshore talent through operational and strategic training

  • Track record of leading transformational change within a Finance/Accounting organization with emphasis on deploying technology enabled tools and processes.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, including an ability to simplify the message for a senior audience while also getting into the details as needed. 
  • Proven and successful track record of implementing key financial and business priorities.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Forward thinking, innovative leader who has experience working in a finance and accounting organization, particularly in a business unit Finance leadership role
  • Analytical capabilities and track record of transforming processes
  • Broad Finance leadership experience with 7+ years of experience.
  • Financial Services experience is helpful however all cross-industry leaders are welcome
  • Experience with management of geographically dispersed Finance teams
