Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-focused Finance & Operations professional to support financial planning, accounting operations, reporting, and compliance. This role will work closely with leadership, external partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strong governance as the company scales.You will operate across modern finance tools, manage multiple priorities, and help build scalable finance and operational processes.
ResponsibilitiesYou will lead and support:Managing day-to-day finance and accounting activities across business unitsWorking across cloud platforms including QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Stripe, Bill.com, HubSpot, and banking platformsPreparing budgets by coordinating across multiple functionsOwning monthly consolidated financials and management reportingPreparing board meeting materials and investor updates as requiredManaging Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and revenue recognition (Rev Rec)Supporting payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, and state requirementsManaging expense approvals and reimbursement processesMaintaining accurate records, reconciliations, reporting, and documentationEnsuring statutory, financial, and operational compliance to keep the company in good standingManaging multiple priorities, proactively escalating risks, and meeting deadlinesIdentifying process improvements and supporting automation initiativesPartnering with cross-functional teams on finance and operational workflowsMentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture
Qualifications (Need to Have)4–7+ years in finance, accounting, consulting, or business rolesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Operations, Economics, or related fieldStrong technical proficiency with web-based and cloud applicationsSelf-directed learner comfortable adopting new tools quicklyDemonstrated ability to manage complex workloads independentlyStrong execution mindset and bias for actionHighly organized with strong attention to detail and process orientationProven problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and escalate appropriatelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel / Google SheetsExperience with financial reporting, budgeting, AR/AP, Rev Rec, payroll, and complianceCommitment to inclusion, collaboration, and mentoring
Nice to HavePublic accounting and/or industry accounting experienceTeam leadership or management experienceExperience in high-growth startups or fast-paced consulting environmentsExperience supporting board reporting and investor communications
