Overview
On-Campus ACA Variable Position. The Facilities Maintenance department currently has an opening for a part-time Staff Assistant. This position will perform a variety of administrative support and/or secretarial duties in direct support of the staff assistant in Facilities Maintenance, Venue Operations, and LOAM. This position is distinguished from the Staff Assistant in that incumbents in the Part-Time Staff Assistant position work part-time hours (non-benefitted) in direct support of the Staff Assistant and management teams.Responsibilities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications- One year experience in a professional environment requiring communication, interaction, and problem solving with customers and team members.
- Skilled with computer programs, including spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, presentation software, graphic packages, and basic office equipment, including printers, copiers, and telephone systems.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Skilled in creative problem solving.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business data and personal information.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Willingness to learn new skills and methods to continually improve office operations
- Must display exceptional human relation skills and be able to pleasantly interact with a variety of clientele
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures.

Advertised Salary
$13.00 per hourADA
This position requires moderate physical effort. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking and standing. Employees must adhere to safety precautions and may be required to use protective equipment.
