We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate System Patient Access Registration Manager to oversee both Inpatient and Outpatient Registration. This role is crucial in leading, inspiring, and supporting our registration team members to create an easy and exceptional experience for our patients while ensuring accurate registration. The duties of registration have a significant impact on providing demographic and emergency contact information for our patients while they receive care in our facilities.  The Manager will lead and inspire the registration team to deliver exceptional patient experiences by creating a positive work environment where the employee feels valued, supported, empowered and able to perform at their best.  

The Methodist Registration Manager role involves a partnership with the Methodist Registration Manager in the Emergency Room department to ensure a smooth transition from the emergency room to inpatient status and timely, accurate registration. Support a diverse and complex operating environment with strong subject matter expertise and leadership.  

Provide administrative decision-making, leadership, and strategic planning for Revenue Cycle, System Patient Access operations.  Ensure high-quality, standardized work processes that result in consistent outcomes, favorably comparing with national benchmarks.

• Requires strong knowledge of business and reimbursement management with an undergraduate degree preferred.
•At least three years of experience with hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
• Requires demonstrable knowledge of healthcare billing terminology concepts and processes.
• Requires the ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings.
• Requires the ability to organize and manage work to achieve performance expectations.
• Requires the ability to promote teamwork and develop team members.
• Requires ability to manage within the confines of a budget.
