Hospitalist (Independent Contractor)

About the position:
- Opportunities to work day, night, or swing shifts (3-10 shifts per month)
- Shift hours: 7AM-7PM (day shift), 7PM-7AM (night shift), 3PM-Midnight (admitter swing shift)
- Open ICU model – work collaboratively with the intensivists who will serve in a consulting role only (no intensivist in house 9PM-7AM)
- Primary hospitalist responsible for admitting, rounding, and discharging
- Primary admitting service for all medical and surgical patients with complex medical issues (specialists available 24/7 for consultation)
- Provide consultative services for other specialties in the hospital
- Work with Family Medicine residents assigned to inpatient service
- Along with residents, respond to Code Blues, Code Strokes and Rapid Responses
- Epic EMR/ secure texting app instead of pagers
- BC in Internal Medicine or Combined Internal Medicine/Peds
ACLS certification
Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
Compensation: $2,280 per day shift, $3,032 per night shift, $253.33 per hour for swing shift
