About the Role
FLATS LLC, a Proper company, is seeking a Part-Time Leasing Agent to join our team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a motivated, service-oriented professional who enjoys engaging with people and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Leasing Agent will be responsible for providing superior customer service, managing leasing activities, maintaining accurate administrative records, and ensuring compliance with all community and company standards. This position is key in shaping a positive first impression for prospective residents and maintaining long-term satisfaction among current tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication
- Provide exceptional service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
- Handle resident concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating to the Supervisor when necessary.
- Maintain strong verbal and written communication with residents, team members, and management.
Leasing & Move-In Process
- Show, lease, and move in prospective community members while promoting the property’s features and benefits.
- Maintain a schedule of move-ins, ensuring units are move-in ready per company standards.
- Communicate lease terms, rental rates, and community policies accurately.
Administrative Duties
- Provide clerical and phone support to the property management office.
- Maintain accurate resident and property files in compliance with company policy.
- Process maintenance requests and other administrative forms promptly.
- Ensure office and model units are clean, organized, and presentable.
Compliance & Policy Knowledge
- Adhere to Fair Housing laws, state regulations, and company policies.
- Stay informed about local market conditions and competitor communities.
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by the company.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with property marketing and outreach initiatives.
- Support resident retention programs and community engagement activities.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.

Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Working knowledge of leasing laws and procedures.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, or similar systems preferred.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-volum
