We are currently seeking an experienced dental assistant to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our practice.

Office Hours:

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred
  • Coronal polishing certification required
  • X-Ray experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
  • Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during the polishing process to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
  • Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes
  • Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining the coronal polishing procedure and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment, restocking supplies, and equipment as necessary
