Staffing Coordinator/Transport - CNA Certification Required

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled Staffing Coordinator to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The successful candidate will be responsible for including, but are not limited to, staffing for all nursing personnel. Facilitates effective communication of employee needs and issues to the team and fosters positive change, professional/program growth and teamwork.  Additionally will transport residents to appointments as needed.

We’re looking for a highly competent and well-organized professional who values safety, security and patient wellness above all else. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for making sure those values are reflected in his or her staff at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or relevant qualification.

• Must possess, as a minimum, a CNA certification or be a graduate of an approved CNA program.
• Possession of a current valid Texas driver’s license or regular means of transportation to and from work.
• One (1) year of experience as a nurse in a skilled rehabilitation, skilled nursing or Long-Term Care (LTC) environment preferred.
• Experience/expertise in gerontological nursing is necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Previous scheduling experience required.
• Transport residents as needed.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a current and active CNA certification in this state.
