Head of Finance

Zing AI Coach is the world’s first AI Fitness Personal Trainer, revolutionising the way people approach health and wellness. As Head of Finance you will lead financial strategy and operations at Zing by aligning budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and risk management with company OKRs. Ensure robust financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and leverage technology to streamline financial operations.

Responsibilities

Cash & Operations

• Own cash management: weekly cashflow forecasts, runway tracking, vendor and payroll payments.
• Set up and oversee approval policies and spend controls.
• Manage relationships with banks, accountants, and external partners.

Planning & Forecasting

• Lead financial modelling (3-statement model, SaaS/consumer metrics, scenario planning).
• Run quarterly and annual budgeting, align with CEO and leadership.
• Deliver monthly management reporting (variance vs. budget, unit economics, cohort analysis).

Spend Control & Optimization

• Oversee spend reviews: marketing, infra, SaaS, headcount.
• Identify opportunities to optimize vendor terms, renegotiate contracts, and improve ROI on spend.
• Partner with growth and product leads to ensure ROI-driven decision-making.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Own financial dataroom, keeping Zing investor-ready at all times.
• Partner with CEO on fundraising: prepare financial models, investor decks, due diligence materials.
• Support board meetings with reporting packs, KPIs, and forward-looking analysis.

Leadership & Team

• Manage and mentor Financial Manager & Analyst; help them grow into Controller and FP&A roles.
• Define the finance org structure and processes as Zing scales (internal vs. outsourced).
• Foster a culture of financial discipline and transparency across the company.

We expect that you have

• 6–10+ years in finance, ideally with experience in tech startups / consumer subscription / gaming / digital products.
• Strong FP&A and modelling background — able to build and maintain complex models.
• Solid understanding of accounting, compliance, and controls (audit exposure is a plus).
• Proven fundraising experience: investor reporting, due diligence, data room prep.
• Hands-on and adaptable — comfortable rolling up sleeves in a lean setup.
• Strong communicator: able to work closely with CEO, leadership, and external stakeholders.
• International experience (multi-currency, multi-entity) is a plus.
