Full Stack Java Software Engineer (Hybrid)

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Full Stack Java Software Engineer to assist with the development of various projects. The software engineer will support a modernization effort to converge NSA’s authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools. ]\

Responsibilities:

• Working with various teams including Government leadership, end users, system engineers, and other software engineers
• Design, develop, install, deploy, operate, and manage systems

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance w/ a Full-Scope Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
• Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience

Required Skills:

• Full stack software engineering with strong back-end Java skills and UI experience
• Java Spring Boot
• Vue.js or TypeScript
• RESTful web services
• MongoDB

Desired Skills:

• Agile software development practices, Jira and Confluence
• Current Agency reporting tools and solutions
• Spring Cloud, Spring Framework
• Docker, Docker Compose, or Docker Swarm
• Elasticsearch
• Tomcat
• HAProxy

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $150,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the years of experience)
