About the role

Job Description:

We are seeking a VP, Audience Science with a media background to join the Global Data and Technology team at dentsu. In this role, you will work with senior Data and Technology Solutions leaders, new business teams, and client teams to demonstrate the value of the dentsu.Connect platform, which brings together technology, data, and AI.

You will lead important parts of our Data and Technology support for media-focused new business opportunities. This includes developing and improving RFP responses, POVs, and thought leadership materials. You will also create clear overview presentations, manage steps in the platform demo setup process, and oversee project and process management to ensure the dentsu.Connect platform is integrated into pitches in a way that shows its impact on outcome-based media work.

This role will also manage internal and external platform overviews and demos for lower-complexity needs, maintain product marketing and new business content libraries, and support training work.

This role reports to the SVP, Solutions, Data and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

Data and Technology New Business Process Management

  • Partner with Data and Technology Solutions leaders and media new business teams across Carat, dentsuX, and iProspect.
  • Manage the Data and Technology new business process, including timelines, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Work with the Data and Technology Client Success team to support customized dentsu.Connect platform demos for pitch meetings.

Content Management

  • Manage U.S. Data and Technology product marketing materials, RFP content, POVs, and presentations.
  • Ensure content is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
  • Support the use of AI-driven tools for content search and integration across the Solutions team and wider dentsu Media organization.

New Business Content Development and Support

  • Serve as the lead writer and editor for a wide range of new business opportunities.
  • Translate guidance from senior leaders and capability experts into clear and relevant content.

Training and Support

  • Support the creation of training modules for the dentsu.Connect platform, including data, AI, and related features.
  • Assist in platform demos and training presentations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience specific to media, advertising, advertising technology, or a related field, including experience supporting new business efforts.
  • Experience supporting teams that use data and identity in media strategy, audience segmentation, audience-based planning, optimization, and measurement across brand and performance campaigns.
  • Experience contributing to client pitches, including creating data and technology narratives, platform demos, and client-centered content.
  • Ability to understand market trends and client needs, and to connect them to dentsu’s technology, data, and AI capabilities.
  • Experience creating clear and reusable content and templates.
  • Experience using AI tools for content or presentation development is a plus.
  • Ability to explain complex topics in a clear and accessible way for a range of audiences.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, or Data Science is required.
  • Advanced degree is preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $190,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
