Training and Development Program Lead

Overview

The Training and Development Program Lead plays a key role in developing and executing comprehensive training programs to support business needs. This senior-level position is responsible for creating training plans, designing curricula, and delivering both classroom and e-learning courses. Serving as an expert in training and development, the Trainer III also provides guidance to internal subject matter experts through train-the-trainer sessions and mentors junior trainers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive training programs based on project or organizational requirements.

• Design and update training plans, curricula, and course materials (instructor-led and e-learning).

• Deliver engaging classroom and virtual training sessions.

• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to prepare internal subject matter experts.

• Ensure training content aligns with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and industry standards.

• Manage training logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, and technology setup.

• Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level trainers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and delivering training curricula and supporting materials.

• Strong classroom (Instructor-Led Training) facilitation experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with e-learning platforms a plus.

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

• Prior experience supervising or mentoring other trainers preferred.
