Summary:

The Electrode Senior Process Engineer will participate in optimizing productivity and sustainability of electrode production through high level of technical knowledge while ensuring stable mass production quality & PD improvement through recipe setting, aligning specifications, process capability management, and quality defect improvement based on a technical understanding of the process and equipment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Quality issues to provide corrective & preventive actions
• Specification optimization by Design Of Experiments (DOE) procedure and process conditions establishment
• Non-conformance report handling and corrective action implementation
• Establishment and revision of process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA), process flow diagram (PFD), PF Manual and control plan
• Development of new model introduction (NPI) and 4M change verification
• Conducting internal and customer audits
• Response to internal / external quality issues for the customer
• Chronic defect improvement activities
• Work with engineers / operators to troubleshoot machines to ensure highest yield and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Compliance with health / safety / environmental / fire regulations
• Analyze productivity, yield and OEE of assigned process and production department
• Improve production processes by creating various standard operating procedures (SOP) and train operators to ensure understanding and correct implementation.
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
• 7+ years of experience in electrode technology related job or equivalent, relevant experience

 

Skills:

• Six Sigma Certification preferred but not required
• MS Office Suite
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Organizational and multitasking skills
• Korean language skills preferred but not required
