Your role

 

We currently have an opportunity for a Store person/ Administrator to join our Laverton North team. This role will be responsible for supporting Laverton site operations, including maintenance and projects by assisting with general administration, purchasing and inventory coordination including management of site maintenance stores.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Creating purchase orders for the procurement of materials and services required for the site
  • Inventory management of engineering spares including purchasing, stock takes, monitoring of stock levels to ensure stock on hand meets requirement.
  • Maintenance of SAP vendors, inventory items, purchase orders and requests.
  • Monitoring of outstanding purchase orders and provision of monthly reports, monitoring and reconciliation of standing purchase orders.
  • Communicating with different stakeholders for procurement and stores activities.
  • Assisting staff with using SAP purchase requests and goods receipting when required.
  • Processing invoices, liaising with accounts payable and completing GR/IR clearing.
  • Support regional maintenance manager with administrative duties including assistance with regional site maintenance administration as required.
  • Carrying out store person duties like inventory management and receiving deliveries as required.

 

Your skills & experience

 

  • Similar experience in manufacturing industry is highly regarded
  • SAP experience is essential
  • Forklift license is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying stores management processes
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Good attention to detail and safety focused mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
