What does a successful Sr. Product Manager do at Fiserv?

This is an exciting opportunity to help small and medium-sized businesses discover, onboard, and run their business through Clover. The Financial Services team is responsible for providing financing options to merchants, improving merchants cashflow and improving merchants’ financial health. As a Product Manager at Clover, you will be responsible for enhancing the end-to-end merchant experience to drive deeper engagement throughout the merchant lifecycle.  You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of merchant cashflow and financing needs, creating a roadmap with clear requirements, prioritizing enhancements, and delivering quality updates to reshape the end-to-end merchant experience on Clover.

What you will do:

  • Be responsible for enhancing the end-to-end merchant experience across multiple platforms (device, web and mobile) to drive deeper engagement throughout the merchant lifecycle: 

    • Define user requirements and write user stories

    • Review and prioritize backlog

    • Communicate requirements with Design, Engineering, and Product Marketing

    • Lead daily standups and other sprint ceremonies

    • Lead sprint planning and communicate requirements to the team, and definition of “done” with acceptance criteria

    • Coordinate with the release management team to deploy features and updates

  • Identify and validate opportunities through research, data analysis, and user feedback to continually optimize the experience

  • Create a narrative that can clearly articulate the problem statement, hypothesis, and expected outcomes, against key metrics

  • Partner with Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Data Science to scope and execute on enhancements – both near and long term horizon projects

  • Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Support to define a go-to-market strategy for key initiatives

  • Assist in building business cases (including opportunity sizing and financial analysis) to define, evaluate and help prioritize competing opportunities

What you need to have:

  • 5+ years of work experience in Product Management roles working with Engineers, Design, and Product Marketing

  • Experience in SMB lending, specifically with launching SaaS solutions

  • Experience developing products across Web, Android, and iOS products – come prepared with specific examples from your portfolio

  • Strong technical background with the ability to work with Engineering to evaluate tradeoffs in architectural discussions

  • Experience presenting to key stakeholders and partners to influence strategy and cross-functional initiatives

  • Significant experience in managing the product development lifecycle and working in an agile environment

  • Proven track record of using data to influence requirements, design and implementation

What is nice to have:

  • Build vs. buy vs. integrate experience 

  • Experience with POS/Payments in the SMB space, or other financial products

  • A/B testing experience

Salary Range

$110,700.00 - $189,700.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
