Job Summary:

Individual Contributor supporting key security solutions across the In-Store business unit. The ideal candidate will possess a passionate interest and some experience in cryptography, using asymmetric and symmetric principles in both software, and on HSM’s (hardware security modules). Must be willing to learn and apply the fundamentals of online and offline payments. Programming skills is a must, and experience in C++ and Java is preferable. Apart from being highly technical, the job will entail frequent interactions with various product teams for whom solutions will be crafted. Thus, good oral and written communications skills is vital. Must have working experience with Unix, communication protocols such as TCPIP, relational DBMS, etc.

Responsible for developing and integrating cryptographic algorithms to support various applications across PayPal. You will specialize in building highly available, scalable and durable software products, tools and services to support PayPal global growth.

• Design and develop highly scalable and available applications for mission-critical systems

• Lead the creation of innovative Full Stack components and solutions

• Assist in the completion of various PCI certification activities, using Host/Connectivity and Remote Key Loading for card readers connecting to HSM-based backend and PCI mandate 18-3 regarding use of Key Blocks
