The Med Surg has 21 bed unit.  A general med surg - sees all types of patients - great variety and you will see a good mix of patients. Unit coordinators are on staff, ensuring smooth operations and quality patient care. The RN unit Coordinator Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.

Position Available

• Full time, 36 hours per week
• Night Shift

Education

• RN-Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• RN-Master’s Degree

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
• ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire
• BLS within 90 days of hire
• Professional Specialty Nursing Certification (preferred)

Experience

• Experienced RN
• 18 months nursing experience required
