Senior Digital Content Writer

Position Summary

The Senior Digital Content Writer generates original writing in support of corporate and non-profit clients, across a range of interests and specialties. A successful Senior Digital Content Writer will be skilled at SEO writing; adept at multitasking; and thrive in a cooperative, fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

Role Responsibilities

• Create SEO-based strategic content for clients, including blogs, social media, messaging, web copy, one-pagers, video scripts, reports, and white papers.
• Perform copyediting as needed, uphold digital best practices, and monitor relevant news.
• Create editorial calendars and use Monday.com to plan content, outline processes, and set deadlines.
• Plan and give creative direction for organic social content for multiple clients.
• Assist in the development of multichannel brand messaging and integrated strategic communication campaigns.
• Lead client-facing meetings and discovery processes to gain insight into client messaging goals.
• Work under Pinkston’s Senior Digital Web Strategist and collaborate with other digital team leaders to provide support for client accounts and interactions.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

• 4+ years of professional writing experience, including experience with SEO content creation.
• A passion for writing and the ability to think creatively, outside the box.
• Ability to proactively research for client needs and synthesize and translate complex information to general audiences.
• Ability to generate engaging, original content for various digital platforms, aligned with client messaging, voice, and goals.
• Able to translate client feedback into precise written content.
• Ability to interact with clients and lead client meetings.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and balance multiple projects across several diverse clients.
• Alignment with Pinkston’s guiding principles.
• Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Liberal Arts, or related field.
• Familiarity with developing organic social content is a plus.
