Join our global technology leadership team as the Senior Manager, Enterprise Platform Engineering. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the team, that architects, builds, and optimizes Windows and Mac based platforms at enterprise scale, driving innovation and operational excellence across a diverse, international environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a global team of Platform Engineers
- Researching, designing, and testing computer hardware components for Windows and Mac based systems.
- Designing and implementing endpoint delivery processes using tools like Windows Autopilot, Intune and JAMF.
- Documenting processes, creating knowledge base articles and providing training for team members.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Windows OS, BIOS configurations, drivers, compatibility conflict resolution, performance bottlenecks and system crashes BSODs.
- Managing OS development and lifecycle processes, including vulnerability mitigation, patch management, OS upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Identifying assess and mitigate vulnerabilities through proactive security measures such as implementing BIOS, Driver and vulnerability mitigation.
- Developing and maintaining roadmaps for Windows platform evolution, including planning for emerging technologies, hardware architecture advancements, and AI on desktop trends.
- Staying current with the latest trends and advancements in computer hardware and technology to develop innovative solutions and improve products.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams (GNS, GSO, Hosting, Server Engineering, etc.) to align platform strategies globally.
- Performing performance impact analysis, capacity and disaster recovery planning for Windows systems.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role
- Deep understanding of the Windows operating system architecture and its interaction with hardware.
- Understanding of MacOS operating system architecture and JAMF.
- Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, Group Policy, Intune, Policy Management
- Linux experience a plus.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify complex issues in computer hardware and develop logical, effective solutions.
- Analytical thinking: Skill in evaluating data from tests and systems to make informed design decisions.
