Our Executive Leadership Team is expanding! We are looking for candidates to join us with a starting pay of $210-220k annually, commensurate with experience.
The primary role entails setting strategy and overseeing the functions of Lending, Marketing, Insurance, Wealth Management, and the Sunmark Charitable Foundation along with being President of our CUSO. Key responsibilities include:
- Sets strategic direction for all areas of responsibility and actively participates in the credit unions’ long and short-term strategic planning and budgeting.
- Develops credibility by acting as a role model, providing leadership, and coaching staff toward appropriate behavior and job performance. Ensures employees have proper training and other resources to perform their jobs. Creates and maintains a high-quality work environment where staff are motivated to perform at their highest levels.
- Supervises and conducts performance reviews of direct reports. Addresses disciplinary and/or performance problems according to company policy.
- Acts as a member of the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) Team.
- Acts as the President of the Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO), including oversight of the Sunmark Insurance Services department.
- Writes and formulates all procedures and internal policies related to lending. Acts as a member of the Lending Review Committee and Quality Control Committee.
- Communicates with all related management and operational staff on supporting strategies and procedures to ensure the objectives of the credit union are met; implements specific credit standards.
- Offering financial guidance to members, addressing inquiries, and resolving lending-related issues.
Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business or higher, with at least 5 years of experience in leading Lending teams. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, along with the ability to work confidentially, responsibly, and flexibly. Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work effectively under pressure are key attributes we seek in potential team members.
