About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Corporate Talent Pipeline to lead our efforts in building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline. This role is crucial in driving our hiring efforts and ensuring the growth and development of our internal talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, talent management, and a passion for fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce.
This role reports directly into the Head of Talent Pipeline and Onboarding and is based in New York City.

- Overseeing an integrated Talent Acquisition and Talent Management function across all corporate functions and divisions they will focus on…
External Pipeline:
- Develop and implement innovative and creative sourcing strategies to scale hiring efforts and attract top talent
- In partnership with the GD Strategic Pipeline, build and maintain relationships with external partners, including universities, professional associations, and recruitment agencies.
- Train and support hiring managers in best practices for interviewing, selection, and candidate experience.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to inform recruitment strategies.
- Monitor and drive key recruitment metrics (qualitative and quantitative)
Internal Pipeline:
- In partnership with HRBPs, lead all divisional and corporate talent reviews and succession planning processes to identify and develop high-potential employees. (This is inclusive of understanding the needs of the business/leadership teams, strategizing new concepts and building new content as needed)
- Lead talent check ins with leaders/leadership team, driving commitment and providing accountability to drive development actions
- Act as the Champion of Internal Mobility by partnering with GD Talent Operations to animate internal talent pools, connecting talents with internal mobility, global mobility, stretch, and mission-based opportunities
- Collaborate with department heads to understand talent needs and align internal mobility efforts with business goals.
- Partner with SGD Talent Pipeline on any career programming needs (themes pulled from insights from talent reviews to enhance portfolio)
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal talent initiatives and make recommendations for ongoing enhancements.

What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Strategic thinking: ability to connect dots, ask excellent questions to understand the why
- Proven experience in as a talent acquisition and talent management leader
- Ability to develop, execute and maintain processes and initiatives
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Experimentation to explore how to enhance the corporate Talent processes
- Role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence in our New York City Headquarters
Compensation:
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $133,000-$160,
