09The Team: This is a critical role on our North America People Services team, supporting employees across Canada and the United States while providing strategic global support in a forward-thinking environment. Our People Services team members operate across India, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the US, working collaboratively in an agile environment that values operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovative HR solutions. Responsibilities and Impact:
Coordinate coverage and scheduling for the North America team, ensuring SLAs and performance goals are consistently met in accordance with regional expectations and business requirements
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members to support their career growth and development
Support comprehensive employee life cycle events across Canada and the US, including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding, ensuring full compliance with company policies and country-specific regulations
Enhance the overall People Experience by driving satisfaction through expert guidance and timely resolution of cases, claims, and queries within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies, support initiatives and change management projects while developing knowledge library articles to support HR policies and procedures
Conduct regular reviews of processes to ensure accuracy and compliance, while monitoring and evaluating third-party systems and relationships
Collaborate with Payroll Services, Benefits, Regional People Advisors, People Relations and other regional stakeholders to resolve complex issues and support business needs
Process and approve data requests in HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow, Equifax) while maintaining records in compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws
Develop and maintain articles in the Knowledge library to support understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures for the North America population and the People Services team
Support the People function with additional activities and projects aligned with strategic objectives
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $53,084 to $99,996. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
3+ years relevant experience in providing HR support for a global organization or across North America
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in North America with demonstrated compliance expertise
Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, or similar HRIS platforms
Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide meaningful recommendations through storytelling
Proven ability to apply discretion and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations
Strong technical acumen and ability to learn and adopt new tools and technologies in a rapidly developing HR landscape
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service experience with delivery of SLA-driven metrics and performance standards
Familiarity with AI-driven HR tools or platforms such as automation software, or predictive ana
