Warehouse Associate - Shipping Team - 1st Shift - Collegeville PA

Overview

Allied Wire & Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently hiring a Shipping Associate to join our growing team in Collegeville, PA! In this role, you will prepare and manage shipping orders & paperwork, perform quality control, and ensure all orders are shipped accurately and efficiently.

Hours: 5:00AM-1:30PM M-F

Pay Rate: $19/hr + full benefits

Location: 101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville, PA 19426

What You'll Do

• Handle paperwork, prepare shipping documents (BOLs, invoices, packing slips), and schedule LTL carriers for pickups
• Work alongside our sales team to provide freight quotes, weights and dimensions, and answer emails regarding production requests or inquires
• Stage and track carrier shipments
• Process packages in computer and sort by carrier and compare package labeling
• Operate forklift, order picker, pallet jacks, and other machinery 
• Assist with general shipping/warehouse duties as needed

 

What You'll Bring

• Experience in a warehouse shipping role required
• Attention to detail
• Basic math skills (percentages) and computer skills (email/data entry)
• Ability to read micrometers, calibrators, and specs
• Physical dexterity to handle regular lifting and movement
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
