We’re looking for new graduates!

Are you a recent graduate looking for an opportunity to train with seasoned professionals?  Are you ready to apply the knowledge and skills you learned in your degree program to make a difference in the lives of children and families in a variety of settings?  If so, we are looking for applicants like you!

About NOVA:

Since 1985, NOVA Behavioral Health has been dedicated to supporting youth, adults, and families who face developmental, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Our mission is to promote resilience in the individuals and families we serve through individualized, evidence-based assessment, skill building, and intervention. NOVA’s ICF-IID program opened over 30 years ago with the mission to move individuals with intellectual disability out of institutional settings and into the community. This program has successfully operated since that time, and many of the original individuals still live with us and call NOVA home. NOVA has grown to expand and upgrade services and now offers outpatient pediatric services. The PRTF, serving over 1,500 children and adolescents, has been nationally accredited since 2008 and has been Joint Commission accredited since 2017.

Nova Behavioral Health - Tidal Integrated Health:

Pediatric outpatient psychological services began in 2019 under the name Tidal Integrated Health. The service was originally established to increase early access to behavioral health services for young people and their families in pediatricians’ offices. Psychological testing and skills building therapies were added in 2021 to meet additional behavioral health service needs in the area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Nova Behavioral Health - Tidal Integrated Health is recruiting compassionate, caring, and dedicated mental health providers to serve full-time in a variety of settings such as pediatricians’ offices, traditional outpatient behavioral health offices, and schools.

The current position includes a variety of clinical opportunities related to providing care to children, adolescents, and their families in diverse settings - primarily Integrated Primary Care (training and supervision available).

We are also searching for providers interested in: Autism Assessment (ADOS-2 training and supervision opportunities are available, if applicable), School-Based Services, Behavioral Parent Training (training and supervision available), and Traditional Outpatient Behavioral Health treatment.

Opportunities to consult within other areas of NOVA’s behavioral health services will be available (e.g., behavioral consultation for individuals with intellectual and developmental delay).

Preference will be given to candidates who are both licensed (or license eligible) in North Carolina, and who also hold a BCBA certification or subscribe to a behavioral theoretical orientation.

This is a full-time position.

If you’ve recently graduated and are seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families you will support, please apply now!
