FERPA and Institutional Data Policy compliance requirements must be met once hired
40% - Serve as the front-line employee in the Office of Retention & Student Success Initiatives, this includes:
- Answer phone/take messages/schedule appointments in Microsoft Outlook calendars
- Oversee department email account, answering questions, referring students, and connecting with appropriate staff within office
- Triage student concerns and link to appropriate resources, on campus or community
- Handle and work on projects with confidential student information
- Assist in operation of the office
- Provide information to faculty, staff, and students
30% - Assist director and staff with special projects related to retention and student success:
- Identifying student needs on campus and assist with unique outreach/action plan
- Data analysis in Excel
- Learning community student recruiting
- Targeted student outreach measures
15% - Provide support for special activity events including but not limited to, campus and learning community events as well as academic success workshops and programs
10% - Run errands on and off campus, make purchases for office, retrieve mail, and distribute to staff, prepare mailings, set up and monitor bulletin boards
5% -Other general duties as assigned
Additional Information:
FWS eligible jobs can be filled by a non-FWS student.
