Finance Specialist

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
 

 

Role purpose:

As a part of the Regional HUB Record to Report Central team you will support the daily business processes and month-end closing activities in South region (Spain, Portugal, Italy, France) from finance and accounting perspective.
 

Responsibilites:

• Reviewing BS figures, checking reconciliations (BlackLine) on monthly basis
• Supporting month-end closing activities
• Assess local finance/accounting data and reports from compliance point of view (both IFRS & local statutory)
• Process fit-gap analysis between legacy solutions and international best practices incl. s/4 Hana, propose & ensure implementation of solutions to eliminate gaps
• Establish standard processes, procedures for all accounting areas
• Support transformation of local accounting activities into a uniform, state-of-the art accounting operation to meet stakeholders’ expectations
• Identify opportunities for innovation incl. digitalization, automation/robotics
• Participating and leading ad hoc finance related projects
   

Requirements:

• Accounting/Finance qualification either on university or college level
• 2-3 years of multinational experience in finance/accounting area (BIG4 experience is an advantage)
• Active business English and Hungarian communication skills
• Experience/knowledge in IFRS
• SAP S4 Hana user/reporting skills
• Accounting/external audit experience
• Advanced SAP; advanced Excel
• Active driver's license
• Flexible, independent, open-minded, proactive personality
• Strong communicational and organizational skills, team-player with good analytical skills
• Project management, change management skills – advantage
• Manufacturing company experience is a plus
• Occasionally traveling to Budapest office

 

Primary job location: Székesfehérvár, Hungary (2 days/week on site, plus Home office possibility)
