We're looking for a game dev talent to join our growing design department working on the Helldivers 2 team.</p><h4>Who you are:</h4><p>We're looking for someone who is friendly and helpful, but also hardworking, efficient and dedicated to the game design craft!</p><ul> <li>Minimum 5 years experience in the games industry from a similar role (AA or AAA)</li> <li>Have experience of a full AA/AAA dev cycle from conception to release</li> <li>Adept in scripting game features and working in engine</li> <li>Adept at developing and scripting enemy AI</li> <li>Be able to work very independently and assume responsibility</li> <li>Good at articulating and documenting features and systems</li> <li>Experience working on game balance in co-op games</li> <li>Experience with working on systemic game design</li> <li>Strong collaborative skills across disciplines</li> <li>Great English communication skills, both written and spoken</li> </ul><ul> </ul><h4><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h4><p>As a Senior Game Designer you will be;</p><ul> <li>Scripting and implementing things in the game engine</li> <li>Translating game direction to game design</li> <li>Solve complex design problems in an efficient manner</li> <li>Owning, building and driving development of new exciting features</li> <li>Work closely and collaborate effectively with other disciplines</li> <li>Prototype and implement features that work with the existing design ecosystem</li> <li>Active and driving participation in design meetings</li> <li>Be a part of handling design and balance in a live service title</li> <li>Mentor and skill up midlevel and junior members of the design team</li> </ul><h5><strong>How to apply</strong></h5><p dir="ltr">If you think that this position matches your background and skills, we would love to hear from you.
