JOB SUMMARY: Inside Sales Representative
Salary Range is 60k-75k base, Plus Commission Opportunities
3V’s newly added Inside Sales Representative role will be a fundamental addition to the Sales Team. This role will help our Sales Team achieve our ambitious customer and revenue growth goals for the future. The right person must be comfortable from all things up to and including: cold calling potential end-use customers, data manipulation, and turning existing clients into repeat business and increase current spend/volume. You must be comfortable making multiple calls per day, working with outside sales partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales
Requirements

- Generate new business and ensure the current client’s needs are met. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Build customer relationships with existing clients by reaching out via phone calls, emails, or other forms of communication. Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Use CRM software to maintain a database of current information on new sales opportunities as well as existing customers
- Track sales cycle progress on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure customer acquisition/retention goals are met. Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your Assigned Division.
- Prepare Customer Pricing Proposals with approval by Business Managers of Assigned Division
- Coordinate Customer Orders, Availability and Shipping with Customer Service and Handle all follow up in case of shortage of product
- Facilitate Customer Presentations with support of Marketing and Business Unit Managers of Assigned Division
- Support Outside Sales
- Receive orders by email, web portal or fax.
- Review customer pricing files and confirm pricing before entering orders
- Enter orders in JDE and maintain customer files.
- Process drumming and toting request when needed.
- Document availability of product, shipping details and delivery date on each order.
- Track order progress daily and report any problems to the Order Processing Manager.
- Document and file all communication with the customer regarding the customer’s order.
- Provide documents or tracking information to the customer when applicable.
- Provide past due invoice information to the customer or sales person when assistance is needed and requested by the 3V Sigma USA, Accounting Department.
- Check inventory for all orders and work with Order Processing manager for allocation of orders
- Process drumming and toting request when needed.
- Issue Debit or Credit Memos when needed for customer returns or correction of invoicing.
- Support and help to other CSR/Salesman when volume of work is above normal.
- Provide coverage for vacation and absent of other CSR/salesman. Including JDE order entry and documentation for outside warehouses.
- Maintain and check daily open order report. Investigate and report any problem to the Order Processing Manager.
- Maintain ISO / EFfCI requirements and certifications in affected areas

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Proven inside sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota and value added selling
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing multiple calls per day
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of sales experience converting qualified opportunities in a sales representative position preferred
