About the role

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist of Financial Data & Analytics to work on the development and delivery of advanced analytic solutions that support strategic decision‑making across the enterprise. This position will partner closely with divisional SMEs—including HH Finance, Manufacturing Division Finance, Research and Development Division Finance, Corp Finance, Tax and Treasury—to define solution requirements.

The Specialist will develop solutions based on designs provided by the larger project team.  This role requires strong problem-solving skills and developing technical know-how.  Also working effectively with business and technical team members will be critical.

Primary Responsibilities

Analytics Solution Design & Delivery

  • Document business requirements for data ingestion and curation, business process assumptions/changes, KPI definitions and, finally, user interface requirements.

  • Support the delivery of end‑to‑end analytics solutions, including data modeling, semantic layer development, predictive analytics, dashboards, and self‑service capabilities.

  • Define master data and processes to maintain it.

  • Define security requirements.

Advanced Analytics & Financial Modeling

  • Build forecasting models, scenario analyses, profitability analytics, and performance management frameworks.

  • Ensure analytical rigor, validation, and ongoing performance monitoring of models used across forecasting, commercial insights, and operational planning.

  • Drive standardization and reuse of analytical components across divisions.

Program & Project Management

  • Work within agile methodologies to drive transparency, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure alignment with compliance, privacy, SOX, and governing financial controls.

 

Education Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering/Bioengineering, Economics, Mathematics or related field.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional or educational experience.

  • Expertise (through experience or coursework) in advanced data analysis, financial modeling, and modern BI/analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, cloud analytics platforms, etc.).

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of business intelligence software.

  • Knowledge of data transformation and orchestration techniques.
