Fettler/ Grinder

We are looking for an experienced fettler / Grinder to join a busy manufacturing business in Sheffield. This is a Permanent role available for an immediate start.

The successful candidate will have a background working within a similar role within a fabrication based environment.

Hours – 0730 – 15.30 Mon - Thurs/ 0730 - 12 Friday

OT available at premium rates and the chance to join a growing team.

The role

* Grinding, finishing, and dressing fabricated components

* Removing excess material and surface imperfections

* Operating hand-held power tools and fettling equipment safely

* Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* Following health and safety procedures at all times

What we are looking for

* Previous fettling, grinding, or metal finishing experience

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Strong work ethic and reliability

* Awareness of workplace health and safety practices

* Good attention to detail

* Reliable with a positive attitude and strong teamwork
