General Description
Responsible for managing user access to systems, data, and applications within the organization and in compliance with the organization’s procedures, standards, and regulations (e.g., FRB, NYDFS, GDPR, NIST). The role involves ensuring authorized users have appropriate access, implementing and enforcing IAM policies, and maintaining the integrity of the IAM system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and create, modify, delete user accounts, as well as managing user roles and permissions.
- Perform password resets for end users and perform caller authentication.
- Implement and enforce access control policies and procedures to ensure only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information and resources.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents related to access management, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Implement and utilize automation tools to streamline IAM processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to users on IAM policies, procedures, and system usage.
- Lead and respond to audit findings, providing required documentation and evidence.
- Lead in the development and maintain written procedure documentation related to identity and access management provisioning, termination, and transfers.
- Handle escalations and resolve issues promptly.
- Proactively aware of IAM best practices, innovative technical solutions, and threats facing the organization.
- Perform disaster recovery updates and testing as required.
- Collaborate with IAM related projects for application onboarding and offboarding.
- Support the team and ensure compliance with SLAs in Service Now.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and go to person for complex issues and resolution.
- Provide expert guidance, offer direction and work alongside the team to develop creative solutions for IAM challenges.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceBachelor's Degree from an accredited University/College in Information Systems or related fieldsExperience
Three (3+) years of related experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) in a complex technological environment.

An ability to conduct analysis of work procedures and business results and recommend changes to improve the effectiveness of the business' management.
- Strong technical acumen: knowledge of Cyber Security, Information Security, and Information Technology concepts. Strong knowledge of processes, controls, efficiency metrics and reporting concepts. Ability to write technical instructions using programs and technology. Robust knowledge of applicable local and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Communication skills: effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly develop written and verbal communications skills in English. Presents numerical data effectively. Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent report-writing and presentation skills. Polished in preparing presentations, executive summaries, and business reports in English for executive audiences.
