Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Pursuit Lead. As Pursuit Lead, you will use your strong project management skills and lead all aspects of the pursuit activities throughout the end-to-end pursuit lifecycle (Pre-RFP, RFP response/proposal development, Supplier Presentations and Post-Presentation) for Nordic Must Win opportunities.
As a Pursuit Lead, you are required to rapidly engage with and drive collaboration between numerous pursuit and leadership stakeholders and the client service delivery team to create compelling and differentiated selling propositions for our clients. You are also expected to actively identify knowledge gaps, critical challenges/weaknesses and possible risks for the sales opportunity whilst working proactively with key internal functions to attain the utmost quality of our offering. This opportunity will require some travel.
In this role, you will make an impact by:
- Lead and manage the Pursuit Process: Develop and drive the end-to-end pursuit process, by establishing key milestones and deliverables, identify and mitigate risks as well as assure high-quality submissions that meet and exceed client requirements.
- Develop the winning strategy: Collaborate with the client service delivery team to develop a compelling pursuit strategy that aligns with the client’s needs and business objectives.
- Coordinate proposal development: Develop and manage the pursuit plan by establishing key milestones and deliverables.
- Stakeholder engagement: Engage with internal key stakeholders, including senior management, subject matter experts, and client service delivery team across borders to ensure alignment in the pursuit process.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous pursuits to continuously improve the pursuit management process and increase win rates.
Qualifications
As a successful Pursuit Lead, you possess strong project management skills, demonstrating the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent quality control over milestones and deliverables. You should have a minimum of two years of experience in pursuit and/or proposal development, preferably within consultancy services. Additionally, you bring a proactive, flexible mindset and the ability to manage different opinions and perform well under pressure.
What you bring to the team:
- Strong project management skills: Proven strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and in teams, ensuring excellent quality control over milestones and deliverables.
- Pursuit and proposal experience: Minimum of two years of experience in pursuit and proposal development, preferably within consultancy services.
- Understanding of Deloitte Services: Understanding of Deloitte services and offerings is preferred, along with experience in national and/or global consulting organisations.
- Proactive and analytical mindset: Highly proactive self-starter with strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage different opinions and work well under pressure.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, exhibiting strong interpersonal relationship skills to foster collaboration and build consensus among diverse stakeholders and teams.
