This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding.

Purpose

This position is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the  Salesforce environment for the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC), a network of health-related institutions tasked with providing mental health care, consultation, professional development, workforce development, and research for Texas children and families. As a part of the internal evaluation team, this position will work closely with internal and external teams across the state to optimize the platform's capabilities and support program performance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with The University of Texas System, external implementation team, and operational support teams to contribute to the development of a new Salesforce environment to support provider engagement, school engagement, and workforce development.
  • Create custom objects, fields, email templates and validation rules, list views and page layouts, flags, declarative approaches like flows, and email alerts.
  • Engage with internal and external constituents to gather and analyze requirements and propose solutions that leverage Salesforce functionalities.
  • Maintain well-written records describing how each function works, any special configurations, and how to troubleshoot basic issues. Monitor and report on issues.
  • Assist and/or lead Salesforce training for end users and partners. Conduct testing and track issues and their resolution. Serve as a contact for Salesforce-related activities, including user management, security settings, data integrity, and overall system maintenance.
  • Upload data files from external data system regularly to provide engagement information within the Certified Records Manager (CRM). May lead to testing application programming interface for communication with external data system and Salesforce.

Required Qualifications

At least 3 years experience as a Salesforce Administrator/Analyst. Experience in systems administration training. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce features, objects, standard functionality, Salesforce security, and Salesforce best practices. Demonstrated experience in configuring and customizing Salesforce using point-and-click tools. Strong understanding of security settings, user management, and data access controls in Salesforce. Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools like Flows. Experience with data management tasks and integrations between Salesforce and other systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex issues effectively. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously. Values the contribution of other in the work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) or equivalent certification. Proactive and self-driven attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Salary Range

$80,000 - $100,000 + depending on qualifications

  • M-F, Flexible between 8am-6pm
