Title of Position: Campus Executive Assistant
Summary of Position:
The Campus Executive Assistant provides administrative and ministry support for the campus pastor. This multifaceted role also provides administrative and event support for the campus. This position will require active participation in managing and overseeing campus events, volunteer teams, developing and monitoring budgets, office and building management, planning and organizing campus events, phone and email reception/intake, communications and social media oversight, database and software management, and coordination with Gateway’s central teams. This role also includes ministry, care, and communication with the congregation.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Campus Pastor and campus administrative needs
- All duties pertaining to a Executive Assistant
- Provide specific leadership and oversight to the following areas of ministry:
- Campus Receptionist
- Office Supplies, mail, etc.
- Office Visitors & Phone Calls (flow of traffic)
- Campus Events
- Oversee the Campus Calendar
- Coordinate and Oversee Campus and Church Events
- Coordinate/lead volunteer teams for events
- Communications and Social Media
- Responsible for Church Communication & Manage campus social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
- Newsletters, emails, volunteer sign ups/registrations
- Gateway Central Team Liasson
- Communicate, clarify, and work with central teams for campus connections
- Database and Accounting management
- Work with Campus pastor on budgets and provide ministry budgets and all variance reporting for departments
- Oversee multiple Gateway databases, programs, software, and central reports
- Campus Receptionist
- This role also engages in congregational ministry, care, connection, and communication
- Extra duties as assigned

General Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
General Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit/stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally kneel, or crouch
- Set up and tear down for events inside and outside in various weather conditions
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
