Senior Consultant - Tech Advisory

SC&H Group’s Technology Advisory service line is looking for a dynamic Senior Consultant to assist our clients in accomplishing their goals in the applications space. As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with a talented team of professionals and directly assist the client manager in support of many clients across various projects. This candidate will have a “roll the sleeves up” mentality while contributing to the design and delivery of technology and process solutions, including process re-engineering, gap analysis, and requirements definition. This person will play a key role in developing trusted partnerships with business leaders, subject matter experts, and end users using strong communication and collaboration skills. This candidate must maintain flexibility within a fast-paced culture and take on tasks both individually and within a team. These tasks may be new and assigned with minimal guidance so the right candidate will need to approach these with innovation and good judgment. The ideal candidate will be willing to take charge and lead discussions, as needed.

 Work You’ll Do:

• Assessing clients’ processes, documenting current and future state workflows, defining their requirements, and proposing solutions that support key business processes.
• Guiding clients in identifying, evaluating, and selecting software as needed.
• Assisting clients through software implementations by working with internal and external resources, and documenting the designed solution.
• Creating and implementing change management plans, including aiding the client in developing and executing testing plans, manipulating legacy data to fit the new solution, and training end-users in the new system.
• Supporting the project through go-live and ensuring solutions are delivered to fit the client’s business requirements and needs.
• Collaborating with developers, project managers, system architects, and various subject matter experts to manage the implementation of changes and meet clients’ goals.
• Working with application solutions in areas including ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of business process experience; participating in requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders, documenting business processes, prioritizing requirements, etc.
• A background as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, in an Agile environment, or on a development team
• Experience in application development or implementations in any of the following areas: Manufacturing, Distribution, Non-Profit or Services industries; Finance/Accounting, HRIS, CRM, ERP, and E-commerce applications; data/process integrations.
• Some accounting experience/understanding is preferred
• Ability to thrive in a learning and ever-changing environment. Creative and resourceful, self-starter who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously, and capable of managing multiple deadlines. Ability to take direction and work independently. Great attitude, goal-driven, and team player.
• Willingness to take charge of meetings to drive requirements and deliverables to completion. Results-oriented with self-confidence, perseverance, and a high sense of urgency.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
