By </span>joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.</p><p></p><p><span>Citi has had a presence in Ireland since 1965, it was one of the first foreign banks to open an office in the country and is the Citibank Europe Plc Headquarters. </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Team/Role Overview</span></b></p><p></p><p>The IA Transformation - Risk & Controls audit team is responsible for providing audit coverage and issue validation assurance of initiatives under Citi's Enterprise-Wide Risk & Control Transformation Program, including but not limited to Enterprise-Wide Risk Management programs, Internal Controls, and Citi’s Risk & Control Self-Assessment program. The Senior Auditor is responsible for planning and execution of Internal Audit assurance activities (audits; issue remediation testing), primarily in support of Citi's Risk and Control Transformation efforts. The overall objective of this role is to develop and execute Issue validation audit activities and will also contribute to all IA Transformation programs’ validation objectives. The IA Transformation – Risk and Controls team is based in multiple locations in the US as well as locations in Mississauga, Mumbai, London, and Dublin.</p><p></p><p><b><span>What you will do</span></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Perform moderately complex audits including drafting audit reports, presenting issues to the business, and discussing practical solutions</li><li>Draft audit reports and present issues to the business while discussing practical cross-functional solutions</li><li>Complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes, and budgeted costs</li><li>Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks</li><li>Contribute to the development of audit processes improvements, including the development of automated routines</li><li>Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence audit scope</li><li>Develop effective line management relationships to ensure strong understanding of the business</li><li>Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.</li><li>Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.</li><li>Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.</li><li>Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>What we will need from you</span></b> </p><p></p><ul><li>Previous background in Audit or related Risk & Control role</li><li>Previous experience working within Financial Services</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills</li><li>Subject matter expertise regarding audit technology’s application</li><li>Effective project management skills</li><li>Effective influencing and relationship management skills</li><li>Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Education</span></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience</li><li>Master’s degree preferred</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What we can offer you</span></b></p><p></p><p>We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
