We are seeking either a Principal Software Configuration Analyst or Senior Principal Software Configuration Analyst to support our Software and Infrastructure team on the Phoenix program. This position is located in Dulles, VA.

 

Core responsibilities:

• Manage and control the COTS software products, which includes acquisition, tracking, usage monitoring, ensuring compliance with license agreements, renewals, and retirement
• Interface with the Cybersecurity Team to ensure COTS software products are compliant with cybersecurity requirements
• Prepare the contract deliverable Software Resources Data Report (SRDR)
• Perform Software Configuration Management functions, which include facilitating the Configuration Control Board, perform change and release management, status accounting and version control, and generate software builds and software version description documents

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Principal Software Configuration Analyst: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in STEM; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's' in STEM; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Senior Principal Software Configuration Analyst: 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in STEM; 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's' in STEM; 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Top Secret clearance at time of application, and the ability to obtain SCI and SAP access
• Experience with software development lifecycle and processes
• Experience with software configuration management processes, source control, branching strategies and semantic versioning
• Experience with and comprehensive understanding of software development and configuration management tools (i.e., Linux, Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, ClearQuest, Git, Collaborator)
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and complete tasks timely
• Ability to collaborate with fellow team members, cross-organizational teams, and management
