RN | Inpatient Behavioral Health

The Registered Nurse is the basic level of professional nursing practice. She/he identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. A nurse at this level may be required to assume leadership responsibility.

Schedule: 

• 64 hours every 2 weeks 
• Rotating shifts (Days, Evenings and Nights)
• Every other weekend
• Rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits: 

• Pay based on experience and degree
  • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $40.79 per hour
  • Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $41.14 per hour
  • Master’s in nursing starting at $43.20 per hour
• Pay range: $40.79 - $61.76 per hour

What you’ll have:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure in the State of Minnesota.
• Working knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, public, and other providers.
• Knowledge of growth and development; specifically, an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation process.
• Understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

**Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Willmar, MN and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
