Substitute Instructional Assistant Special Needs/Mobility

Kern High School District is hiring substitutes on an AS NEEDED BASIS, applications will be accepted periodically for the following Substitute Classifications:



THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE SUBMITTED:
 

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. or proof of passing District Proficiency test in areas of Reading, Writing, and Mathematics

You will need to meet the following clearances:
Fingerprint clearance (FBI  and DOJ background check)
***Some classifications do require passing a pre-employment physcial (provided by KHSD) in addition to special training
Verification of Freedom from Tuberculosis (TB) which is valid for 4 years
