Job Summary

Serves in a strategic leadership role responsible for identifying, managing, and optimizing all revenue generation opportunities for the college. Develops and executes strategies to maximize revenue streams, ensure operational efficiency, and align these opportunities with the institution’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities

Revenue Generation, Strategic Planning, and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Drive innovation and transformational change to support the achievement of strategic outcomes and revenue optimization.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to optimize revenue from college business units, including conferences and events, parking, real estate, Fine Arts Center, the Robson Arena, the housing program, and oversight of third-party service provider relationships.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for revenue growth, including partnerships, sponsorships, and innovative business models.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with key college leadership to align revenue-generating activities with the institution’s strategic plan and long-term goals.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships that align with the college’s mission and revenue goals.
  • Act as a primary liaison for external organizations utilizing college facilities and services.

Financial Operations Management:

  • Create a service culture that is responsive and rooted in customer service, operational excellence, revenue optimization, goal setting, and student and customer outcomes focused.
  • Develop and manage all revenue-generating unit budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
  • Conduct market analysis to inform pricing strategies and ensure competitiveness.
  • Partner with college leadership to implement best practices to improve operational efficiencies and enhance the customer experience for all revenue-generating units.

Real Estate:

  • Oversee opportunistic purchases and development of property not currently owned by the college.
  • Develop and manage budget expectations for off-campus properties such as the CC Cabin and Baca Campus.
  • Assist with the negotiation of leases and real estate agreements to maximize financial returns and strategic benefits.
  • Other analysis, due diligence, and real estate management, as assigned by VP/CFO.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or in a related field, plus a minimum of five years related experience, with progressively responsible experience in managing administrative and financial operations; demonstrated experience creating and successfully executing revenue generation plans within a complex organization; strong fiscal management, analysis, and budgeting skills; exceptional administrative, organizational, human relations, and technical skills; ability to develop and maintain working relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds and perspectives, ability to work independently and accurately, must demonstrate ability to work with discretion, a high level of resourcefulness, diplomacy, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of responsibilities; ability to maintain the confidential nature of information and issues that arise in the course of the job and office of the VP/CFO; skilled in making decisions by seeking out best alternatives for complex issues; ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment with timelines and be able to navigate shifting priorities with ease; outstanding customer service and budget management/analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; advanced-level proficiency in computer software to include the use of Microsoft Office pro
