This position monitors and controls outbound inventory and coordinates schedules to meet shipping requirements needed to satisfy customer orders. They are responsible for planning, controlling, and distribution to support operations requirements. This position is also responsible for contributing to a safe workplace and minimizing negative impacts by complying with the EHS policies, procedures, work instructions outlined in the EHSMS Training Assessment for this position.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaison between customers and plant production to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Monitor customer EDI to ensure data accuracy
  • Provide shipping schedule to the team
  • Monitor, control, and adjust inventory as needed
  • Access customer portals, Provides direction and support to the Shipping and Receiving Process Technicians.
  • Work with quality to ensure that parts shipped are meeting customer requirements
  • Escalate to the customers crisis team and sales and communicate any potential issues
  • Manage SAP transactions and check that process are followed
  • Monitor past dues and help to provide a recovery plan
  • Lead monthly inventory cycle counts for outbound material
  • Work closely with material planning to ensure that parts arrived on time
  • Control and process customer returns
  • Review and respond to any SPPS
  • Help coordinate Service orders. Check that built plan is aligned with customer requested ship dates
  • Ensure that Ontime delivery KPI’s are updated on time
